After Your Meditation

As you move into your day, it provides a perfect opportunity to practice what you have learnt. Use walking to the bus, or washing the dishes, as an opportunity to practice your mindfulness. Reflect on and try to assimilate the meaning of the particular meditative theme or topic as it relates to your daily activities and life.
Ultimately, your meditation should gradually expand to fill your entire waking day. Traditional Tibetan Yogis were said to be able to meditate even when asleep.
